Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Spirituality and Practice

God wants to have a personal relationship with each one of us. When we make an intentional choice to spend time with Him, our faith is strengthened, our perspectives change, and our circumstances are touched by the One who knows exactly what we need.

Our hearts cry out for a connection that only Jesus can satisfy. Check out these spiritual resources—created just for you as you walk with God.

"...and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge, and with all kinds of skills." (Exodus 35:31, NIV)

Healing Scriptures

Scriptures on healing point us back to God, who is our ultimate healer. He knows every tear we’ve cried. He declares that He will restore us, He will heal our afflictions, and He will keep us in perfect peace.

From the moment we took our first breath, there’s been a war waged on our souls. The enemy would love to keep us in bondage, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well.

By focusing on God’s Word, our perspective changes. We learn how we can grow our faith, become peacemakers, and conquer anxiety. Regardless of our trials, God is with us.

"If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well. Let’s not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another." (Galatians 5:25-26, NASB)

When we gather the ingredients to make a fruit salad, we might choose to cut up apples, peel oranges, slice a pear, or dice up some grapes. But what about creating a spiritual “fruit salad”?

You know how important it is to get your daily serving of fruits and vegetables. It’s just as important to nourish your spirit by growing spiritual fruit!

Our spiritual “fruit salad” is composed of love, joy, peace, and patience. In looking at Galatians, we also fold in faithfulness and self-control. Add in a dash of kindness, a helping of gentleness, and a measure of goodness.

Building our spiritual “fruit salad” doesn’t have to be a chore. With God’s help, we can cultivate good spiritual fruit.
